Dr. Nicholas Perna is Associate Professor and Director of Vocal Pedagogy at CU Boulder and runs the Berton Coffin Voice Lab. He is also the 2025 Van Lawrence Fellowship winner, a PAVA-RV, and was previously a research associate at the University of Mississippi Medical Center's dept. of Otolaryngology. Lover of all things VocalFri with a spirit animal of the 12th Doctor and Stephen Strange combined, Dr. P enjoys life with his wife Mandy and two awesome teenagers (now recurring pod guests).
Prof. Sarah Pigott is adjunct professor of voice at Mississippi College. A 2023 NATS Intern, she has the MM and BM degrees in Voice Pedagogy and Performance from MC. She has presented at National Conferences such as NATS and the Voice Foundation. Sarah and her husband Jamey recently welcomed their first child.
